No! There are many aspects to pelvic floor physical therapy treatment, such as exercise, relaxation techniques, and behavioral strategies. Your physical therapist will provide information and guidance on whether and how each intervention technique may be helpful, but you will never be required to engage in a way that does not meet your needs.

We are a participating Medicare provider*
For all other insurances, we are currently an out of network provider. We will gladly provide you with a “superbill,” which is the form you may submit to your insurance to seek reimbursement for services. See the Services and Fees page for more information.
*Please note, we are unable to accept Medicare Advantage plans.

We believe that pelvic physical therapy should be accessible for everyone. We offer a significant portion of sessions at a discounted rate based on patient need, which you may request during your consultation. Financial security is much more complex than income, so we will never ask for income verification. We instead ask that you consider your resource access holistically - see the Services and Fees page for more information.

Direct access laws vary by state. In PA, physical therapists with a direct access license can provide treatment for 30 days without a physician referral. This helps prevent delays in starting care. Note that this does not mean your insurance will cover these services. Many insurances, including Medicare, still require referrals at start of care.
