Insurance
People's Pelvic Health is currently in network with Medicare only. If you plan to utilize private insurance, the session fee will be required at time of service, and you will be provided with a superbill. You can utilize this superbill to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider.
After long consideration, it was determined that accepting Medicaid would not be financially feasible for this practice. In order to provide access to community members utilizing Medicaid, a percentage of sessions have been designated at no/low cost. Please see the sliding scale below.
Out-of-Pocket Sliding Scale
People's Pelvic Health is committed to providing accessible services to as many of our community members as possible. If you are not utilizing insurance coverage, the following treatment session rates are available. There are limited slots available at each reduced fee rate. When you book your consultation, you will be able to request the fee that feels accessible to you, and Sonia will verify availability.
55 minute treatment session:
$175 (full fee)
$125
$75
$40 (available for persons who are uninsured or utilizing Medicaid only)
$0 (available for persons who are uninsured or utilizing Medicaid only)
Sliding Scale Considerations
Consider paying more if:
You own your home
You have access to financial savings (such as a retirement account or investments)
You don’t have debt/ you have some debt, but it doesn’t prohibit you from meeting your basic needs (food, housing, transportation)
You have access to a support network that can provide financial assistance when needed
You have a high degree of earning power (even if you are not currently earning income, consider factors such as class background and level of education)
You can afford to travel recreationally
You regularly have “expendable” income (income that allows you to purchase recreational items on a regular basis)
Consider paying less if:
You are experiencing unstable housing
You frequently experience stress regarding meeting basic needs, such as rent or groceries
You have no access to financial savings
You have been denied work due to race, gender identity, ability, or incarceration history
You are eligible for public assistance
You have significant debt that sometimes makes it difficult to meet your basic needs
You have very limited or no expendable income (income that allows you to purchase recreational items)
You cannot afford to take time off of work without significant financial burden
Still unsure?
During your free consultation call, Sonia will discuss with you current sliding scale availability, and help you think through accessibility based on your resources and potential number of sessions for your treatment plan.
